Purim???

Purim??? What is that you say!

What
Jews re-experience the miraculous events of Purim by listening to the reading of the Megillah (Scroll of Esther) twice: once on Purim eve, Saturday night, February 27, and again on Purim day, February 28, 2010. Note that the Jewish day begins at Sundown.
Excited
When the villain Haman is mentioned, it is customary to twirl groggers (Purim noisemakers) and stamp one's feet to "eradicate" his evil name. Children are encouraged to know that Purim is definitely the right time to make noise!
Big Grin
Read the Book of Ester to get the whole story. Come on it is an easy and enjoyable read.
