My darling and I love primitive camping with our small tent and a few necessary supplies. A week in the wilderness is so relaxing. It is also a reminder of what life was like with out Cell Phones, TV, Microwaves and a lot of other stuff that makes our daily lives easier.
We take too many of our modern conveniences for granted until the power goes out for a few days in the dead of winter. Keeping a fire going 24/7 and cooking in the fire place is a hoot for a few days but what if we had to live that way all the time? I am so thankful for the blessings of all our modern conveniences but also thankful that if necessary I know how to live without them.
