Earth Day & Faith

Earth Day was set up as a reminder that people have damaged the earth and we need to correct that damage before it is to late to save us all from destruction.

Stewardship of the earth is also one of our faith issues as we contemplate our relationship with God and all that has been placed in our care and keeping.

People use to say which is more important the environment or the economy? Well it turns out that if you don't take care of the environment the economy will suffer. If we allow the greed of a few people to make short term wealth at the expense of the earth then the long term cost will cause suffering for all of us.

Let us all green up the earth on "Earth Day" and live longer.

  3. Hi PL
I always remember Earth Day, it's also my Birthday! It seems as the year go by that constant reminder has helped me "green up" my life a bit. There's always room for improvement, though.
