It is HOT

This heat wave is something else but the worst part is it is also humid.

Stepping out the front door is a little like entering hell even in the morning. I guess it is to be expected in August with Global Warming as a big factor.

Thank God for air conditioning. I am stying in as much as possible.

  1. our heat wave finally got broken by rain last night. It's now cooler, too. The plant world really needed the rain! We aren't used to it at all (90°-100°F and humid) which is why most offices (like mine) and homes don't have air conditioning. Cars now usually have it standard but a few years ago it was still a "luxury".

  3. It's hot in Texas too. Be prepared next week! But we might get some rain and that helps a little. At least until the sun comes out again and the gulf wind blows.
