When my daughters were young, one of our favorite activities was reading. At bed time there was a bible story, one of their books and then story time where I made up a story for them. To this day they both love books and my youngest is in love with words and language. Her blog name was Lolaphilologist.
How important it is to teach our young children to love to read and be curious about life and all of God’s creation. When you understand how to use language to express yourself your world changes and you are the agent of that change.

my oldest granddaughter, Tamara, loves to read... her mom always read to her and her sister at bedtime. Tamara is now in first grade but reads 3rd grade level! I'm always amazed when she reads to ME!
