White House Diary

Last Sunday on 60 Minutes I saw President Jimmy Carter interviewed about his new book "White House Diary" and was fasinated by his candor.

So I purchased the book and am now reading it. Mercy there was a lot we did not know about going on behind the scenes. I always thought that one of Carter's faults was that he was too honest with us. He was one of the most honest and frank presidents we ever had and as a people we didn't like to be told the truth.

I will let you know what I think about it after I have finished reading this thick heavy book.Chin

  1. I have often thought that Carter was vey misunderstood. I also remember he had perhaps the most noble intentions of any president.

I voted him out of office but absolutely admire him as an American Citizen.
